I have been twice and found El Tunco to be one of my favorite spots. Great surfing, great local hosts! I especially loved a little coffee shop called Dale Dale, with free internet and great treats! It is owned by a lovely couple who are giving back to the community by trying to raise money to build a playground for the local children. It is great to see businesses in poorer communities giving back! I found my self stopping in every day for a coffee and breakfast which provided a great opportunity to meet other tourists as well as locals. Thanks for the info on El Sal.
